Re: Public Records Request 000631-2015

This letter is to acknowledge receipt of your public disclosure request for a copy of Bellevue Police Department materials related to records related to any investigation of complaints made against Officer Robin Peacey within the past 6 years.
In the past 6 years, Officer Peacey was the subject employee in one Informal Standards Collision investigation (ISC 10-021). This was a sustained finding for Judgment. She was also listed in a Dissatisfaction of Service Complaint (DS 15-013). No misconduct was found in that DS, but she was corrected as to the privacy laws.

Your request is still considered open; I am writing to inform you that you should anticipate the investigatory files by the end of business September 28, 2015, if not sooner. I will need this time to review the files and make note of any exemptions or redactions

Competed for Best Looking Police Officer several years in a row!
Internet archive reveals these comments:
How lucky you are to have an officer with such Character and Beauty. She comes from a wonderful family and really exemplifies what a good honest officer is. Good Luck Robin Your family thinks you are a winner anyway. Barb and Bob Valentine
Robin is one of the strongest people I know. She has seen some pretty nasty things in her line of work in the Department and at the Crisis Clinic but refuses to be hardened or stop caring for people even if they have stopped caring for themselves!
Robin is a very thorough and efficient police officer. I've ridden with her and am impressed by her composure and sense of humor. She is compassionate and tough at the same time.

Re: Public Records Request 000632-2015

This letter is to acknowledge receipt of your public disclosure request for a copy of Bellevue Police Department records related to the Formal complaint of serious misconduct on record against Captain Jim Hershey.

You requested a summary of any disciplinary findings, for example, why and when was personnel disciplined or reprimanded. Captain Hershey was investigated in 2013 in FS 13-003. He was exonerated in all three charges: Judgment, Obedience to Laws, and Duty Responsibilities in this Formal Standards investigation.

Your request is still considered open; I am writing to address a slight delay in getting the records to you as FS 13-003 is a very large case with juvenile privileged information. You should anticipate an additional response by the end of business October 2, 2015, if not sooner.
