A minor dispute between neighbors in 2015 exposed a pattern and practice of corruption in the Bellevue, Washington, USA, police department.
The Bellevue WA Police Office of Professional Standards intentionally mis-categorizes misconduct complaints in order to protect their own employees at taxpayer expense. The King County Sheriff's Office was recently exposed as doing the same thing.

The content of the sound has no impact on whether a sound violation is or is not occurring -- its the distance traveled at high volume... and amplification is illegal in this case.

Police refused to talk to me in person about the case. I e-mailed constantly and received evasive and vague replies.
This is a tactic employed by the Office of Professional Standards in order to frustrate complainants and prevent any accountability for wrongdoing by police.

I even got removed from the lobby for asking King County Sheriff
if someone would look at the case...like the Chief said I should! Hmm.
Federal Bureau of Investigation also refuses to investigate.
In fact, they won't even verify video evidence confirms police account -- no one will.
No one can point to the evidence that police swear exists and used as probable cause to try and arrest me.
On a three minute video, exact time index references should be completely trivial.

The Washington State Patrol said they can't investigate without an official request from a State agency or Attorney General.
No help either from Governor Jay Inslee's legal team.
None of my local representatives will help (Mayor Balducci, Mayor Stokes, City Manager, City Council, Patty Kuderer, Joan McBride, Cyrus Habib, King County Executives/Council)
The Washington Attorney General says Washington State Patrol can investigate if they "want" to.
Yes, that letter above is from a guy who got fired and had to SUE to get his job back.
He still quit. No one double checked his work?
